Armando F. Paz, Jr., Esq. is the founding partner of PAZ LAW FIRM, P.A.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida where he was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award.  After college, Mr. Paz was employed as a Licensed Private Investigator.  Thereafter, he worked for Progressive Insurance Company as a Claims Representative and Licensed Adjuster in Progressive’s Special Investigative Unit.

Mr. Paz attended law school at
Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center.  He was elected Chapter President of the International Law Students Association, and he was later appointed to Southeastern Regional Director.  During his clinical semester during law school, Mr. Paz interned for the United Nations Department for Disarmament Affairs in New York.  He received his Juris Doctor and a Certificate of Concentration in International Law from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, in December of 2000.  Mr. Paz has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 2001, and has always been a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.  Mr. Paz is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. 

Mr. Paz takes an active role in attempting to address and solve the unique issues that face his community.  The Miami Herald quoted Mr. Paz in an article discussing his growing concerns about the never ending insurance premium increases, and the impact these issues have on homeowners and businesses in South Florida.  Mr. Paz is also involved with various local organizations that strive to address ecological and environmental issues that are unique to South Florida.  As a result, Mr. Paz can often be found discussing and promoting the right of free and open access to his community's resources.  This includes preserving South Florida’s natural habitat, beaches and coastline.
